Do any of your products contain sulphur? Do any of your products contain additives or preservatives?
No! All of our fruit comes straight to us from the growers, then gets washed and hand-processed before the drying period commences. We are 100% sulphur-free, 100% preservative-free and 100% additive-free! More info here.
Your dried fruit is so sweet and delicious, are you sure none of your products contain added sugar?
Yes, we're absolutely sure! The all natural drying process means that our fruit is carefully dried over two or more days. This allows the dried fruit to retain all of it's goodness, healthiness and natural sugars (fructose).
It's those natural sugars (fructose) that make our dried fruit so sweet and delicious!
Generally speaking, the drying ratio of the fruit will indicate how sweet it is, with a higher concentration leading to a sweeter fruit.
For example, our bananas tend to dry at a weight ratio of 7:1 while our strawberries dry at a ratio of 20:1 - the strawberries are great value!!
How do you dry the fruit?
How do you process the dried fruit?
All of our fruit is processed by hand on-site, here in North Queensland.
When the fruit has been prepared, we leave it to dry for a minimum of two days before it gets hand packed, ready to be delivered directly to the customer.
Processing and packing by hand allows us to keep our experienced eyes on all of the fruit during the drying process and keep the quality of our dried fruit to its exceptional level.
How can I use dried fruit?
Dried fruit can be enjoyed as a delicious snack on its own, or used in cooking and food preparation.
On its own, delicious Tropical Harvest 100% suplhur-free dried fruit is often eaten as a healthy treat between meals, as part of a lunchbox or as a pre-work out energy boost.
In cooking, our dried fruit can be added to make a tasty salad, enjoyed as a breakfast topping or as decoration for cakes and other baked foods.
The fruit can be rehydrated when soaked in water...
What are the benefits of dried fruit over 'regular' fruit?
It's easier to manage, makes less mess and has a higher concentration of 'goodness'!
As the fruit has been dried, it is much easier to transport and store - whether this is popping a Snack Pack into a lunchbox, stashing a Share Pack in the glove compartment of the car, or storing a Family Pack between cereals in the pantry.
Say goodbye to squashed bananas, bruised apples and split mangoes - all of these problematic situations are eliminated by buying dried fruit!
Half a cupful of dried fruit is enough to fulfil one of the "2 and 5" (LINK TO AUS WEBSITE) criteria.
Having Tropical Harvest QLD dried fruit as part of your daily diet makes it really easy for you and your family to reach your daily recommended vitamins and minerals intake.

What is your refund policy?
Yes we will refund the cost of the fruit excluding postage when there is a genuine concern. We do require the product to be returned. Please remember that we do not add anything to our fruits it really is 100% fruit so we really are governed by the fresh fruit. We do not add any preservatives (sulphurs) we air dry to the correct moisture levels which means our fruits are a bit dryer than the sulphured fruit (the plumper the dried fruit the more suphur it has in it) Our fruits are very good value, you are paying for fruit not sulphur. There can be a variant of colours and flavours with fruit from different trees, plantations and areas. Weather also has a big influence on fruit. Not all fruits are sweet, for example kiwi is best described as sweet/sour. Some fruits are full of flavour others are more subtle.
